Skaters and BMX riders at the Southbank Skate Park.
Recorded binaurally on 18th November 2011 at 1747 before going to Bug at the BFI.
This recording is of some young kids that were playing at the skate park in Kelvingrove park in Glasgow. I was cycling past and noticed that it was especially busy due to the nice weather so I sat down for about ten minutes and recorded the sound of the bikes and skateboards. When I took the recording home I realised that there was a generator or something in the background that I never noticed. This was recorded using a pair of Roland CS-10EM binaural microphones and a Zoom H-1 digital recorder.
